A lovely bright calming Flemish seascape painted on the Blankenberge coast looking towards Zeebrugge. Dramatic cloud formation with a light blue sky just peeking through. I love the colour of the Belgium see. So much greener and greyer than on the Dutch coast. The breaking wave washing up in the foreground and the trickle of seawater onto the wet sand sets this picture off perfectly.
